Children's Sonrise Camp ~ July 15-19, 2013 Sonrise is Riverside's FREE day camp for children currently in Pre-K thru 5th grade.  Join us this summer!  Sonrise is 9:30am - 12:30pm each day and will be held at Sugarland Elementary School.  Sonrise campers will enjoy Music, Crazy Games, Bible Stories, Snacks, Fun Crafts and Hanging out with Friends!  Camp registration is available NOW.  To register online click on the logo to the left or stop by Riverside Church. What is offered for Children on Sunday Morning?????

 Nursery:  Nursery is available for children ages 1 month through 3 years of age at each of the morning worship services.  The nursery is staffed by at least 2 volunteers who nurture and care for the little ones.  There are age appropriate toys and books for the children to enjoy.  The nursery is a safe, loving, and clean environment.  During this time, the children learn about God's word and make new friends. 

 Sunday School:  Sunday school is offered during the 9:15 worship service for children ages 4 years through 5^th grade. Four year olds and kindergarteners will meet in the office space to the right of the nursery beginning at 9:15.  First through 5^th grade will meet in the large Children’s ministries room at 9:15 and then break up into groups at 9:30.  All grades will be led through an age appropriate curriculum encompassing prayer, a message, games and crafts.   Fourth and Fifth grade will be released at the close of the 9:15 worship service.  All other children need to be picked up by the close of that service.

Kidz Church: The children's program during the 10:45 hour is designed for children from 4years through 3rd grade. The children begin their worship experience in the Sanctuary with their parents. After the Songs of Praise the children are invited to go to the large Children’s ministries room for their own "sermon", a story and activities designed for this age group. The children are also welcome to stay with their parents during the service.

 Time between Sunday School and Kidz Church:  The time between Sunday School and Kidz Church is designed for parents to pick up their children from Sunday School, help them get a snack from Kenya Café, move around a bit and be a part of our church fellowship.  The children will proceed to the 10:45 worship with their parents in the Sanctuary.  This time will allow them to see and experience worship with the congregation through songs and prayer.  The children will be dismissed to the Children’s ministries room where parents will pick them up at the close of the service.
