We want to see children energized by faith and families connecting with God and one another in the journey of life. We believe that the life of faith is not a set of rules but rather an adventure in loving and serving and discovering the goodness of God. Through fun and interactive experiences, we seek to provide ministries that support the spiritual journey of children and their families.

Children and Worship

We are familiar with the studies that show that children who worship with their parents are more likely to practice their faith as adults. So, we love seeing children sing and pray with us! Children are welcome in our worship services:

10:00am and 11:30am

We have a children’s message in worship during our weekly services to make the Bible passage come alive for children and all those who are young-at-heart. We have children’s worship packs available to give little ones something to do during the sermon time and a wiggle room in the back of the sanctuary for kids who are a little too squirmy for mom and dad’s comfort.

Sonrise Camp is an opportunity for the Riverside family to take Jesus into the local community. It is one of Riverside’s main outreach events.

We host this free camp in the Sugarland Community and enjoy a week of worship, games, skits, bible stories and making new friends..

We loved being all together again in a large format. We can’t wait to see all the campers and volunteers next summer.

Enjoy this recap video of Sonrise.

We believe in infant baptism, but know some families want to allow their children to make their own decisions and wait till their children are older. Have questions about Baptism? Let us know.

We host activities that allow children to experience service in a meaningful way. Ministries like Feed Student where children young and old can help with packing and sorting food. Share Christmas allows young and old to experience the joy of giving during the Christmas season.

Interactive Scriputre

Different seasons throughout the year allow us to provide an interactive worship service for families to make worship meaningful and interesting for young children.

Family Fun Events

Family fun events like a photo scavenger hunt, bingo, board game night, and holiday celebrations.
